What this site is
The Good Boy Foundation is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit registered in California (founded May 2024). This website exists to share educational resources for dog parents, lift up reputable rescues, and support families through cancer. Everything on the site is provided to help you, your dog, and the dogs in your community live better lives.
Educational content, not veterinary advice
Every guide, article, course module, and downloadable resource on this site is for educational and informational purposes only. The content is written by a passionate dog parent, not a licensed veterinarian. It cannot replace the advice or treatment of your veterinarian. Always consult your vet for personalized guidance about your dog's specific situation, and call an emergency vet immediately if your dog is in distress.
We make every effort to keep our content accurate and up to date, but the Good Boy Foundation accepts no liability for outcomes arising from the application of information found on this site.
Donations
The Good Boy Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) (EIN available on request). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donations are processed through Givebutter, our trusted donation platform. We do not store credit card information on this site.
100% of donations go to the foundation's programs (adoption & fostering support, cancer assistance for families). We don't take a salary from donations.
Adoption and rescue
The Good Boy Foundation is not a rescue organization. We work alongside reputable rescues and shelters to connect adopters and fosters with available dogs. Any adoption application submitted through our forms is forwarded to a rescue for them to handle. The terms of the actual adoption are set by the rescue, not us.

Intellectual property
The content on this site (writing, photos of Deuce, foundation branding) belongs to the Good Boy Foundation. You're welcome to share links and quote short excerpts with attribution.
