About Us

Inspired by the love for her soul dog of 16.5 years, Deuce, Winter Fate Morvant founded The Good Boy Foundation as a 501(c)(3) in May 2024. The Good Boy Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the bond between people and their dogs by providing essential information every dog parent should know, promoting adoption, rescue, and fostering to save lives, and offering support to pet parents facing financial challenges while navigating cancer diagnostics, treatments or compassionate end of life care. Through this multifaceted approach, The Good Boy Foundation aspires to create a world where every pet receives the love, care, and support they deserve - just like Deuce did.

About Deuce

Deuce was the light of my life, best friend and soul dog for 16.5 years. He’d been by my side since he and his family were rescued from the streets of Houston, TX back in 2007. He taught me the invaluable lessons of unconditional love, loyalty, and honesty. His unwavering presence taught me the importance of perseverance and accountability, as he stood by me through every challenge and triumph. Deuce's zest for life, his infectious spirit, and his unyielding strength inspired not only me but countless others around the world to embrace each day with gratitude and live life to the fullest. His spiciness made the world go ‘round.

In March 2024, I had to say goodbye to my best friend, but his legacy of love and inspiration lives on. Promising to keep his memory alive, i established The Good Boy Foundation as a testament to his enduring spirit and as my love letter to him. My good boy taught me the true meaning of love, loyalty, and living life to the fullest. With every beat of my heart, I carry his love, and through his foundation, I honor his memory and the profound impact he had on my life and countless others. I love you with all my heart, sweet potato.
